2nd Shift Extrusion Line Lead (Monday-Friday 3:00 pm-11:00 pm)

The Extrusion Line Lead is responsible for ensuring that the extrusion line runs efficiently resulting in high-quality products. This role is a key contributor to the team's continuous improvement efforts in achieving monthly production metrics and in safety, quality, sustainability, and production costs.

• →Lead and perform machine setups, production, and development runs to hit desired product specifications without direct oversight from supervision.
• →Troubleshoot and complete general maintenance of extrusion equipment.
• →Ability to assemble and disassemble extruders for cleaning, and/or job changes that require different tooling with a new setup
• →Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) when completing daily tasks.
• →Use production travelers and other documentation to identify and confirm raw material accuracy prior to starting manufacturing runs.
• →Mix, blend, dry, and transfer raw materials per product specifications.
• →Comply and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure all quality documentation is completed correctly.
• →Perform inspection of final products to ensure that senior extrusion operators are completing operational reviews in a timely manner.
• →Train junior-level extrusion operators and act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all things extrusion.
• →Act in a supervisory manner when Extrusion management is not present by leading shift meetings, executing the daily production schedule and assigning job duties to extrusion team.

• High school Diploma or equivalent required
• Seven (7) to Eight (8) years of experience in manufacturing, machine operations, or a cleanroom environment
• Ability to solve mathematical equations that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of all units of measure
• Effective communication and collaboration amongst co-workers and cross-functional teams.
• Read, interpret, and utilize complex drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Proficiency in operating hand tools or power equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must possess a valid state driver's license.
