Building Maintenance Technician Level 4

Position Summary: The Building Maintenance Tech 4 supports the repair, maintenance, and safe operation of resort buildings and facilities. This role coordinates assigned projects, supports technician training, manages parts and supply needs, and helps maintain reliable building systems. The position works within the Base Operation department on the Building Maintenance team to support daily operations and guest service.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and complete assigned maintenance projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

• Support technician training by sharing knowledge, modeling safe work practices, and working alongside the team.

• Coordinate project planning and execution, including work orders, materials, timelines, progress tracking, and communication.

• Order parts, materials, and supplies; track inventory needs; and coordinate with vendors on availability and timelines.

• Build positive working relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.

• Lead by example in following safety policies and maintaining a safe environment for coworkers, crews, and guests.

• Work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.

Specific Job Skills:

• Must be organized and comfortable using work order, purchasing, and Microsoft Office systems.

• Must have a valid US Driver’s License and complete an MVR check to company standards

• Minimum age 18 years old to drive company vehicles

• High School degree or equivalent 

Technical Experience & Proficiency:

• Proficiency or relevant experience with machine operation, including safe operation of maintenance, grounds, or snow removal equipment.

• Knowledge of advanced plumbing, carpentry, and building repair tasks

• Experience with landscaping, grounds maintenance, and seasonal outdoor work preferred

Physical Demands:

• Bending, reaching, climbing, pushing, pulling & prolonged standing

• Eye/hand coordination & visual concentration on equipment 

• Concentrated reading and writing

• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.  

• Extended periods of outdoor exposure  

• Extreme cold, extreme heat and sun exposure  

• Variation in temperature from hot to cold 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $30+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
