What We Offer

As a Daycare Teacher, you would care for infants, toddlers, and children from 6 weeks to 10 years in a state-certified drop-in daycare. Daycare is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, seven days a week. The job takes place indoors, with daily outdoor play with children. Must have a Central Background Registry (CBR) Number. Please register at:

Responsibilities

    Responsible for supervising a designated group of children daily. Each teacher will be paired with Aides to assist in daily functions. Each aide is unable to be unsupervised without a Teacher in the room.

    Duties include cleaning, organizing equipment, and attending to the daily needs of the children in their care.

    Throughout the day, duties include leading group activities, art projects, and serving food.

    Documenting children’s attendance, medical needs, and personal specifics reported by parents to allow the Daycare to function safely and to ensure that all needs of the children in our care are met.

    Duties with infants and toddlers include nurturing, comforting, and changing diapers. 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 

  • Must have completed 20 credits worth of training at a college/university in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. 

  • Must have experience working with infants, children, and toddlers.
