OPEN POSITIONS:

HEAD LIFEGUARD (1 Full Time) - $17.42/hour

Available Shifts:

- Full Time Position - 30 hours per week
- Flexible work schedule + weekends

ASSISTANT SWIM COACH (1) - $17.42/hour

Available Shifts:

- Part Time - Monday, Wednesday, Friday Evenings and Weekends

LIFEGUARDS – $16.43/hour

Available Shifts (between the hours of):

- Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 8:30pm
- Friday 5:30am - 6:30pm
- Saturday & Sunday 7:00am - 6:30pm

SWIM INSTRUCTORS – $16.43/hour

Available Shifts:

- Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 7:30pm
- Friday 3:30pm - 4:30pm
- Saturdays 9:00am - 12:30pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (ALL POSITIONS):

Minimum age of 16 or older (with valid NYS working papers for minors)
Ability to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness
LIFEGUARDS: Must have a valid lifeguard certification (within 30 days of hire) and demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards
Be able to pass the CDYMCA swim test, as administered by the Aquatic Director or designated individual
Basic computer skills, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
Basic life support or professional rescuer CPR/AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration (completed within 30 days of hire)
New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
