The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing and healthcare services under the direction of the
Medical Director and in accordance with the PPSE Medical Standards and Guidelines. The Centralized
Follow-up RN is a member of the healthcare team and is expected to keep a current base of knowledge
on miscarriage management, contraception, STIs, surgical nursing support, nursing best practices, and
current trends in sexual and reproductive healthcare. The RN is responsible for assisting providers in all
visit types, administering medications, overseeing post-operative recovery, providing patient education
and counseling, providing patient follow-up, and participating in PPSE’s after-hours call rotation.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.

Ability and willingness to travel within GA and AL.

Reliable means of transportation for onsite and off-site work.

If using a personal vehicle to drive for work purposes, a valid GA driver license and current auto insurance in compliance with the minimum requirements of GA vehicle code are required.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

A valid and current AL and GA License as a Registered Nurse required (AL License may be obtained during 90-day introductory period)

Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification required (ACLS may be obtained during 90-day introductory period)

1-3 years of experience working as an RN, preferably in Family Planning, Women’s Health, or Public Health
