Super Operator

The Converting Super Operator will help ensure the safe operations of machinery and the quality and quantity of product produced. They must have the ability to effectively operate two or more different machines in the converting department; this includes one die cutter and one Flexo folder gluer.  They contribute to the complete functionality of the machine center in addition to the general maintenance of the production area. This includes all reports and/or data collection and effective operation of the machine center to its highest standard. All individuals assigned to the machine are to work together in a safe, efficient and effective manner to insure the production of a quality product. To achieve this level of operations all employees are required to comply with all applicable Plant and OSHA safety rules.

While performing the duties of this job, an individual is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell.  An individual frequently is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  An individual must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
