We have several locations offering Internships - Available in NC, SC, VA, and TN.

Our company has an outstanding internship program that allows students the opportunity to gain hands on construction management experience in the field as well as the office. This is a great way to put into play knowledge learned through schooling and gain real world experience in the construction industry. Below are two job descriptions our interns focus on over the course of the twelve weeks for first and second year interns.

Focus on Field / Project Management:

• Orientation and Training.
• Working with tools and learning materials.
• Understanding Production.
• Material and Equipment Management.
• Customer Exposure and Interaction.
• Overview of Project Management.
• Material Ordering.
• Job Costs Reports.
• Schedule Management.
• Drive Meetings.

Focus on Project Management / Estimating:

• Review scope package used to prepare a bid.
• Complete the budget for a project.
• Setting up project and hand offs to the field.
• Track and report project progress.
• Invoicing and preparing cost projections.
• Understanding products and lead times.
• Estimating software.
• Best Practices for estimating.
• Pre-bid walk through.
• Pricing projects.
