- Manage inventory for maximum turnover and minimal obsolescence, balancing the needs of all customers, and ensure parts are tagged to recover factory credit.
- Set pricing and grow wholesale and retail business through promotions, manufacturer co-op advertising and lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with service managers for fast turnaround on internal jobs.
- Direct shipping, receiving and the wholesale parts delivery program.
- Oversee financial controls, including accounts receivable and payable, GL schedules, audit exceptions and accurate documentation.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and keep the department safe, clean and compliant with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of management experience or equivalent, plus at least one year in a service drive or auto parts retail or wholesale environment.
- A proven ability to hire, coach, hold accountable and lead a team to departmental goals.
- Strong business math and analytical skills, including margins, ratios, percentages and turning data into management reports.
