Quick Summary

Key Responsibilities

Own the annotation program as a portfolio: maintain a unified view of all active workstreams, dependencies, timelines, and risks across teams and vendors at all times.

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive “sick-care” to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against “we caught it too late again".

We're looking for an Annotation Program Manager to join our AI Research team. This is a senior role with direct accountability to research leadership and visibility across the full AI annotations program portfolio, including direct oversight of the annotation contractor workforce. The work is the operational core of our AI model delivery pipeline: owning the systems, cadence, and accountability structures that keep annotation work moving at scale, and coordinating priorities across annotation leads, clinical leadership, and research leads who are pulling in different directions depending on what datasets they need and when.

The right person drives that coordination rather than facilitating it. They figure out what the team should be working on, build the infrastructure to track it, and hold people to it. You'll work closely with annotation leads and our internal radiologist on the clinical side, and with AI research leads when they're scoping or requesting datasets. Knowing how to set priorities across those groups and keep work moving without waiting to be directed is central to what this role requires.

This position is hybrid, based in Vancouver for regular on-site collaboration.

Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!

Responsibilities

  • Own the annotation program as a portfolio: maintain a unified view of all active workstreams, dependencies, timelines, and risks across teams and vendors at all times.
  • Responsibility for the annotation team's contractor workforce, including oversight of output capacity, time tracking, and day-to-day workforce accountability.
  • Own Jira architecture end-to-end: hierarchy design, custom fields, workflow automation, sprint configuration, and cross-board reporting wired to Google Sheets and Looker to create visibility on SLA frameworks, QC loops, and vendor accountability.
  • Anticipate capacity gaps, dependency conflicts, and delivery risks in advance, surfacing them with a proposed path forward.
  • Support regulatory and clinical validation efforts by ensuring annotation workflows produce audit-traceable, documentation-ready outputs.
  • Use AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, draft documentation, write scripts, and solve problems before escalating them.
  • 7+ years in program management, operations, or a closely related analytical or strategy role, with ownership of multi-workstream programs across internal teams and external partners. Comfortable operating with light oversight and no playbook.
  • A track record of managing cross-functional partners against hard timelines and quality standards, with clean escalation when commitments slip.
  • Strong analytical instincts: you can look at program data, spot what's off, build something that makes it visible, and tell leadership what it means.
  • Naturally technical: you get into the back end of tools, you've taught yourself to code when you need to, and you default to building solutions rather than working around problems.
  • You're comfortable owning Jira at a configuration level, including hierarchy design, automation, and reporting, and you'd use AI to get up to speed on anything you haven't touched before.
  • Hands-on Google Sheets fluency including Apps Script automation. You've written scripts that other people rely on, and built tracking systems from scratch
  • Experience building or maintaining dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or equivalent, making program status legible to non-technical stakeholders.
  • AI-native orientation: when you hit something you don't know how to do, your first move is to figure it out. You use LLMs to draft, troubleshoot, automate, and learn as a matter of habit.
  • Health tech, MedTech, or clinical research background, familiarity with regulated environments and expert stakeholders, including quality management systems or audit-traceable workflow requirements.
  • Experience managing annotation programs or data labeling operations at scale.
