Experienced Tutor

• →Deliver individualized tutoring sessions to K-12 students in one or more core subject areas (Math, English/ELA, Science, Social Studies, and more!)
• →Assess each student’s learning needs and tailor lessons to meet their goals
• →Provide homework help, test preparation (including FSA, ACT, SAT), and skill-building strategies
• →Maintain consistent communication with students, parents, and Prep Academy Tutors staff
• →Monitor student progress and adapt instruction as necessary
• →Uphold the integrity and educational standards of Prep Academy Tutors

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field
• At least 1 year of relevant teaching or tutoring experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Deep understanding of the Florida K-12 curriculum and/or standardized testing requirements
• Ability to tutor in-person in at least one of the service areas: Naples, Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, or Estero

• State teaching certification (Florida or any U.S. state)
• Experience with students who have learning differences or IEP/504 accommodations
• Bilingual abilities (especially Spanish)

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to students’ homes or designated tutoring locations
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
• Pass a background check prior to hire
