French Immersion Tutor- IN-HOME and IN-PERSON

We are looking for IN-HOME and in-person French Immersion Tutors to support students throughout Vancouver. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded and adaptable educator who is comfortable teaching multiple subjects in a French Immersion environment and thrives on helping students succeed through engaging, personalized instruction.

Qualified candidates will have experience tutoring or teaching students in a French Immersion and be comfortable providing in-home, in-person instruction, with the option to support students online as needed. Familiarity with the British Columbia Curriculum across core subject areas and the ability to provide academic support in French are essential.

• Empower students with personalized academic support aligned with the British Columbia Curriculum.
• Develop customized learning plans that address each student's unique strengths, challenges, learning needs, and academic goals.
• Help students strengthen French language skills, literacy, numeracy, academic confidence, and effective learning strategies.
• Provide remedial support for students who need extra help and enrichment opportunities for those seeking additional challenges.
• Develop supplemental assignments and learning activities that reinforce classroom instruction and promote deeper understanding of the material.
• Prepare students for classroom assessments, assignments, projects, and tests.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, goals, and areas for improvement.
