The Role

The position of Senior CAD Technician is part of the design team and reports into the design manager.
Working as a Senior CAD Technician, you will be responsible producing detailed drawings that support engineers, architects, main contractors and Project managers.

• →Create 2D drawings using CAD software.
• →Interpret Solution Architect sketches, specifications, and design concepts.
• →Revise and update drawings to reflect design changes.
• →Check drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• →Maintain drawing libraries and file management systems.
• →Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers.
• →Interpret field survey data to create accurate site plans.
• →Attend site walkthroughs when needed to understand building restraints and to ensure drawings reflect these.

• →Working with the Design Manager to implement Drawing Standards
• →Mentor the other CAD technicians to upskill their knowledge.
