Mold Remediation / Drywall Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mold Remediation / Drywall Technician to join our team. As a Mold Remediation / Drywall Technician, you will be responsible for identifying, removing, and preventing mold growth in various multi-family and residential properties. You will also be responsible for completing other required tasks which will include drywall finishing, patching, hanging, and being able to match textures when needed. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience working professionally with drywall and/or mold remediation. 

Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform small to large drywall repairs.

• Texturing and finishing drywall.

• Patch work and matching variety of texture styles

• Implement effective mold remediation plans, ensuring proper containment and removal of mold-infected materials.

• Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to remove mold, clean affected areas, and restore properties to pre-contamination conditions.

• Follow industry standards, safety protocols, and regulations to guarantee the highest quality of workmanship.

• Communicate effectively with clients as needed.

• Keep accurate records of remediation activities, including photographs, measurements, and project details.

• Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects within specified timeframes.

• Stay updated on the latest developments, techniques, and equipment in the mold remediation field.

Requirements:

• Certification in mold remediation is a plus.

• Proven experience in mold remediation, including knowledge of industry best practices and guidelines.

• Familiarity with various types of mold, their characteristics, and suitable remediation methods.

• Ability to operate and maintain specialized equipment such such as air scrubbers, HEPA vacuums, constructing negative pressure containment and dehumidifiers.

• Familiarity with drywall tools and equipment (hand and power tools)

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license.
