Responsibilities

→Welcomes patients and visitors as they enter clinic/department. Directs them to appropriate location including clinical, ancillary or business areas.
→Helps patients needing assistance. Transfers patients in/out of wheelchairs using body mechanics techniques.
→Follows clinic protocol in alerting appropriate personnel in emergency situations.
→Handles customer concerns in helpful, objective manner, involving manager as appropriate.
→Arranges for necessary transportation including cabs, clinic vans.
→May assist in maintaining waiting areas.
→Maintain lost and found.

Requirements

High School Diploma and/or GED Required

1-3 years Minimum of one year customer service experience or volunteer position Preferred

Hears Whispers < 3 feet - Constantly
Hears Whispers 3-8 feet - Constantly

Color Discrimination - Constantly
Near Vision (Correctable to Jaeger 2 or 20/40 binocular) - Constantly
Distance Vision (Correctable to Snellen chart 20/40 binocular) - Constantly
