Cutback Saw Operator

Pries is looking for a Cutback Saw Operator to join our growing team! No previous experience is required—we provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are ready to learn and grow in manufacturing.

• Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Occasional Saturday work based on production needs

• Up to $22.00 per hour

• Steel-toe footwear required
• PPE reimbursement available

• →Verify material lengths, die profiles, and work orders using Epicor.
• →Confirm cut tolerances and ensure specifications are met.
• →Inspect material for defects and burrs after cutting; identify and remove defective material.
• →Set and adjust guides according to cutting specifications.
• →Monitor saw stops, blades, lubrication systems, chip collectors, and chip barrels.
• →Work with and provide direction to 1–2 team members to maintain production and quality standards.
• →Ensure stacking equipment aligns material properly according to balance and safety standards.
• →Create rack setups that protect material and prevent damage during handling and storage.
• →Assist in coordinating proper packing and stacking procedures.
• →Follow all company safety policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• →Maintain consistent attendance and reliability.
• →Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready.
