As a Commissions Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent sales commission payments across global regions. You will partner with cross-functional teams including Revenue Operations, Sales, Finance, HR, and Payroll to administer commission processes, validate data integrity, resolve discrepancies, and drive continuous process improvements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented, analytical environment and enjoys improving operational efficiency.
- Own and maintain the organization's commission calculator and supporting models in Microsoft Excel.
- Calculate monthly sales commissions across all regions in accordance with approved compensation plans and policies.
- Validate commission calculations through detailed quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy.
- Perform audits, reconciliations, and data validations to maintain high standards of commission accuracy.
- Prepare and communicate finalized commission payouts to Finance and Payroll within established timelines.
- Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales Leadership, Finance, Payroll, HR, and regional stakeholders to resolve commission-related inquiries.
- Communicate data inconsistencies and recommend process improvements to relevant teams.
- Support month-end and quarter-end commission reporting, reconciliations, and audit requests.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for commission calculations, validations, and payout inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in commissions administration, sales operations, revenue operations, finance, payroll, or other analytical roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data validation, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets.
- Experience performing reconciliations, audits, and data validation with a high degree of accuracy.
