Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum standards.

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation, creativity and student behavior effectively.

• Assess and evaluate students by using a variety of teaching techniques, resources, and progress through assignments, tests, and other assessments to provide timely feedback and enhance learning outcomes.

• Communicate regularly with parents / guardians regarding student’s progress and development and maintain accurate records of student grades, and performance.

• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development programs.

• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduation in the discipline of science with a minimum of 50% marks.

• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teacher training qualification from a recognized university / Diploma in Early Childhood Education (D.El.Ed) is often required.

• 0 - 3 years of teaching experience as a science teacher.

• Creativity in lesson planning and classroom activities and passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.

• Knowledge of child development and ability to use technology and digital tools to enhance modern teaching techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
