Senior Librarian

• Must be of age 45 -50
• Should possess a work experience of 20 - 25 years
• Manage, organize, and maintain the library’s collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation.
• Assist students, faculty, and staff in locating and utilizing library resources effectively.
• Maintain records of library transactions, including check-ins/outs and inventory management.
• Curate and update library materials to meet academic and research needs.
• Provide user orientation and training on library systems, cataloging, and research tools.
• Ensure the preservation and proper storage of rare or sensitive materials.
• Oversee the acquisition, classification, and cataloging of new resources.
• Collaborate with faculty to support curriculum development through resource management.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in library science, including digital resources and technology.
• Should have strong knowledge and hands on experience in MS office like Excel and  Power Point presentations
