LISW or Psychologist (Denison, IA) – Youth Residential Program

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to provide on-site mental health services within a federally supported residential youth program in Denison, Iowa 51442.

Our client operates a comprehensive residential program serving young adults, ages 16–24. The program's mission is to prepare participants for meaningful employment and independent living through education, career development, healthcare, and supportive services.

This role provides direct clinical services to students and collaborates closely with residential and program staff in a structured, community-based environment.

This is a contract position with full-time or part-time availability, up to 40 hours per week.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends required
• Location: On-site in Denison, IA (no telehealth or remote option)

Scheduling flexibility is available to support student engagement and program needs, including occasional presence during afternoon or early evening hours.

The clinician will provide comprehensive on-site mental health services to enrolled students while maintaining an active presence throughout the residential campus.

Responsibilities include:

• → Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations
• → Delivering individual and group counseling services
• → Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans
• → Engaging with students in residential and common areas (dormitories, recreation areas, dining facilities, counseling spaces)
• → Collaborating with program leadership, medical providers, and interdisciplinary staff
• → Providing consultation, guidance, and support to staff regarding student behavioral health needs
• → Supporting student development, emotional well-being, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution as needed
• → Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation
• → Upholding all professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards

Candidates must hold an active Iowa license as one of the following:

• Licensed Clinical Psychologist
• Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing mental health services to adolescents or young adults preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
