  • Synthesize competitive intelligence into actionable insights for the sales organization to use in sales conversations, RFPs, and client meetings
  • Maintain a structured competitive database and scoring framework for key products and strategies
  • Support the pricing strategy for the firm’s investment products, helping ensure fee structures are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with client segment economics
  • Conduct regular pricing reviews, benchmarking the firm’s fees against peer managers and industry data sources
  • Build fee models for new product launches and recommend adjustments to existing strategies as market conditions evolve
  • Work with the Investment team and sales leadership to align pricing with revenue objectives, minimum investment thresholds, and client tier structures
  • Provide analysis to support fee concession frameworks and breakpoint schedules in collaboration with sales leadership
  • Support sales leadership and finance in developing product-level and strategy-level revenue targets, including AUM growth goals and fee revenue projections
  • Translate investment team product pipeline and capacity constraints into commercial opportunity sizing
  • Build and maintain product-level revenue models that reflect flows, pricing, and market appreciation assumptions
  • Provide input to annual planning and budgeting cycles with data-driven revenue forecasts by product and channel
  • Track and report on revenue performance relative to goals, surfacing risks and opportunities to the Director of Product Management and senior leadership

Note: Final content creation and production reside with the Field Marketing function. The Senior Product Marketer provides subject matter expertise and product input.

  • Serve as a key product subject matter expert, ensuring factual accuracy, a consistent investment narrative, and appropriate positioning across collateral
  • Develop and maintain core messaging frameworks, value propositions, and investment thesis narratives for each product and strategy
  • Review product-related content produced by field marketing, including pitch books, one-pagers, DDQ responses, and website content
  • Translate complex investment concepts and strategies into clear, client-appropriate language
  • Support RFP/DDQ processes by providing standard product language, performance context, and positioning guidance
  • Serve as a day-to-day liaison between the Investment team and the sales organization, facilitating regular communication on product developments, strategy updates, and market commentary
  • Partner with portfolio managers and analysts to ensure commercial messaging reflects current investment positioning and conviction
  • Support product launch processes from commercial readiness through go-to-market execution, in coordination with legal, compliance, operations, and sales

  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to translate investment concepts for non-investment audiences
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships across investment, sales, marketing, and finance teams
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management or financial services, including time in product management, product marketing, investment consulting, or a related commercial role
  • Solid understanding of investment products and the client and channel dynamics of institutional and public-sector investors
  • Demonstrated experience with competitive analysis and fee/pricing work within an investment management context
