Salary: £24.00–£40.00 per hour
Working Hours: Part-time (flexible – ideally full-time, but 3–4 days considered)
We are currently seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join an inpatient neuro rehabilitation service in Cambridgeshire for an immediate start.
This is a private locum opportunity based within a well-established rehabilitation team, supporting adults with complex neurological conditions. The caseload is primarily made up of patients with stroke and acquired brain injury (ABI), offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to intensive rehabilitation and recovery.
The role is available on a contract basis until the end of June, with flexibility around working patterns, including full-time or part-time hours (3–4 days per week or long days).
Responsibilities

- →Assess, diagnose, and manage adults with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- →Work with patients with neurological conditions, including stroke and acquired brain injury (ABI).
- →Deliver evidence-based interventions as part of an inpatient neuro rehabilitation programme.
- →Manage dysphagia and provide appropriate recommendations for safe swallowing.
- →Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- →Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards.

- Proven experience working with adult neuro rehabilitation caseloads.
- Dysphagia competency.
