Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Band 6/7 Locum Physiotherapist You will assess and evaluate the physical needs of students with SEN, developing individualized physiotherapy treatment plans. You will implement and deliver therapeutic interventions in collaboration with the educational staff to integrate therapy into the students' daily routines. You will monitor and document the progress of students, providing regular feedback to the multidisciplinary team and adapting interventions as necessary. You will educate staff and caregivers on effective strategies to support students’ physical development and mobility. You will promote a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging students to engage actively in their therapy sessions.
Requirements

- Experience working in an educational setting, specifically with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other professionals
- Compassionate and patient approach to working with children
- Flexibility and adaptability in delivering physiotherapy services
