Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Radiographer/Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures, ensuring optimal image quality and radiation safety. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including imaging, medical, clerical, and nursing staff, to provide comprehensive patient care. Additionally, you will maintain high standards of imaging quality, adhere to NHS protocols, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Given the nature of the role, you will have considerable patient contact, including interactions with terminally ill patients, unconscious or incapacitated individuals, and those with physical or mental disabilities.
Requirements
~1 min read- HCPC registration (essential).
- Degree in Radiography or Nuclear Medicine.
- Proven experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
