We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Physiotherapist to join our clients team in Scarborough. This role is essential in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients within the community, helping them to achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life. The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and patient-centred care.
What will your responsibilities be:
As a Community Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatment programmes for a diverse range of patients. Your duties will include conducting thorough assessments, developing personalised treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to support patients' recovery. You will also educate patients and their families on exercises and strategies to manage their conditions, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participation in case conferences will be key aspects of your role, ensuring holistic and coordinated.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience in community physiotherapy or a similar setting
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
- Knowledge of current physiotherapy practices and evidence-based treatments
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for community visits
