Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist - Slough

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist to join the team in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled podiatrist with specialist diabetes experience to support the delivery of high-quality foot care services for patients with diabetes and complex lower limb conditions.
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing specialist assessment, treatment, and ongoing management for patients at risk of diabetic foot complications.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Deliver specialist podiatry services for patients with diabetes and high-risk foot conditions
- →Assess, diagnose, and manage complex diabetic foot problems
- →Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- →Provide preventative care, patient education, and self-management advice
- →Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
- →Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to local and national clinical guidelines
- →Contribute to service improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities
Requirements
~1 min read- HCPC registered Podiatrist
- Experience working with patients with diabetes and high-risk foot conditions
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills within diabetic foot care
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a specialist caseload
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamworking skills
- Previous NHS experience within a podiatry service is desirable
