We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Radiographer to join our clients team in Oxford. This role involves working across two locations, providing high-quality imaging services to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The successful candidate will be a key member of their radiology department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.
What will your responsibilities be:
As a General Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic examinations, ensuring the highest standards of imaging quality and patient safety. Your duties will include operating imaging equipment, positioning patients, and producing diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists. You will maintain accurate patient records, adhere to radiation protection guidelines, and participate in quality assurance activities. You will also provide support and guidance to junior staff and students, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Registered Radiographer with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience in general radiography within a clinical setting
- Proficient in the use of radiographic equipment and imaging techniques
- Strong understanding of radiation protection principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
