About the Role
~1 min read- Assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy treatment programs for patients in the acute inpatient setting.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide specialist physiotherapy input for patients with complex needs, including those in elderly care, medicine, respiratory, and surgery.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and strategies for managing their conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, research, and service development initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Supervise and support junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and students.
Requirements

- Right to work in the UK
- Acute NHS experience
- Experience in inpatient elderly care, medicine, respiratory, and surgery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
