Responsibilities
~1 min readIn this role, you will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with patients to develop tailored therapy plans, providing both individual and group sessions to improve speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and family members will be essential to support patient progress and ensure holistic care. Your expertise will help empower patients to regain their independence and enhance their quality of life. A compassionate, patient-centered approach and strong communication skills are essential in this role.
Requirements

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc or MSc) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in assessing and treating adults with communication and swallowing disorders.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapy practices and clinical guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Experience working in the NHS or a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
