Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Cardiac Physiologist with a focus on Pacing and Cath Lab, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, monitoring, and supporting patients with heart conditions. You’ll conduct a variety of non-invasive and invasive tests, such as ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and assist with procedures like pacemaker and ICD implants, electrophysiology studies, and catheter ablations. Collaborating with cardiologists, you'll provide valuable insights through accurate data collection, interpretation, and troubleshooting of specialized equipment. You will also offer patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the diagnostic and procedural processes. Strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under pressure are key for success in this fast-paced, patient-focused role.
Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Clinical Physiology, Cardiac Physiology, or a related field.
• Experience in performing non-invasive and invasive cardiac tests (ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, etc.)
• Demonstrable experience in pacing and catheter lab procedures, including pacemaker and ICD implants, electrophysiology studies, and catheter ablations.
• In-depth knowledge of cardiac physiology and relevant diagnostic equipment.
• BHRS necessary.
• Previous NHS experience is highly desirable.
