Responsibilities
~1 min readAs a Band 7 MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing advanced MRI scans, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. You will manage the daily operations of the MRI suite, operate sophisticated imaging equipment, and ensure the accurate capture of diagnostic images. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, you will also be involved in patient preparation and support, as well as participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the department.
- HCPC registration as a Radiographer
- Significant experience in MRI scanning, with proficiency in various MRI techniques and protocols
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads
- Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff is advantageous
