About the Role

The Clinical Physiology team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 7 Respiratory Physiologist to join our team at Wythenshawe. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, lasting for 3 months. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, within the hours of 08:00 to 18:00, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

You will perform unsupervised routine techniques such as Spirometry, lung volumes, and TLco. You will ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results. You will maintain high standards of patient care and safety. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive respiratory care.

Requirements

- BSc in Physiological Sciences.
- Proven experience working as a Band 6 within the Respiratory department.
- Essential NHS experience.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Desirable:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven experience as a Respiratory Physiologist.
