We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 MRI Radiographer with GE experience to join our client's team in Hereford. This role involves providing high-quality MRI imaging services to patients, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostics. The successful candidate will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to the overall efficiency of our radiography services.
What will your responsibilities be:
The MRI Radiographer will be responsible for performing MRI scans using GE equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and producing high-quality diagnostic images. This role includes preparing patients for procedures, operating MRI equipment, and maintaining accurate records. The radiographer will also be involved in developing imaging protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines, and collaborating with the radiology team to optimise patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Registered Radiographer with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in MRI radiography
- Strong knowledge of MRI techniques and safety protocols
- Experience with GE MRI equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in using MRI equipment and radiology information systems
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in MRI radiography
