Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage an autonomous caseload of high-risk and diabetic foot patients, prioritising based on clinical need.
- →Deliver specialist podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- →Provide advanced interventions including wound care, offloading, and ABPI assessments.
- →Work collaboratively with diabetic specialist nurses, tissue viability teams, and wider multidisciplinary teams.
- →Deliver education and health promotion to patients and healthcare professionals.
- →Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and Trust standards.
Requirements
~2 min read- Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Hold a Degree in Podiatry.
- Have significant NHS experience, particularly within diabetic/high-risk foot care.
- Demonstrate strong clinical knowledge in neurovascular and gait assessment.
- Possess strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage complex caseloads.
- Have experience working within multidisciplinary teams and delivering patient education.
