Band 8a clinical pharmacist x3 - Lincolnshire

Pulse is currently seeking three experienced Band 8a Specialist Pharmacists to join the pharmacy team in Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity for highly skilled clinical pharmacists to work within a busy acute hospital environment, delivering advanced pharmaceutical care and supporting the safe and effective use of medicines across a range of clinical specialties.

The successful candidates will provide expert clinical pharmacy input, work closely with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care. Full on-site working is an essential requirement for this position, although some flexibility may be available regarding working days and hours.

• →Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services across designated specialties and wards.
• →Support the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medicines throughout the hospital.
• →Undertake comprehensive clinical medication reviews and medicines reconciliation.
• →Provide specialist pharmaceutical advice to medical, nursing, and allied healthcare professionals.
• →Support prescribing decisions and contribute to medicines optimisation initiatives.
• →Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and clinical discussions.
• →Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and service improvement activities.
• →Support the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
• →Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

• Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Have significant post-registration hospital pharmacy experience.
• Demonstrate experience working at Band 8a level or equivalent within an NHS setting.
• Possess excellent clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
• Be confident working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Have experience providing patient-facing clinical pharmacy services within an acute hospital environment.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Be able to work on-site full-time, which is an essential requirement of the role.
