Are you a qualified Psychologist looking for a rewarding role where you can truly change lives? We’re recruiting for a Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join the team at an independent specialist day school in Hinckley, Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary team, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions, and associated challenges.

Responsibilities

- →Deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
- →Work collaboratively with educational and residential teams to create therapeutic living and learning environments.
- →Provide consultation, training, and guidance to staff to ensure clinically informed care.
- →Contribute to a joined-up clinical model across schools and children’s homes.
- →Support the development of strategies that promote positive outcomes for young people.

- HCPC registration as a Clinical, Educational, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist
- Experience in assessing, formulating, and delivering interventions for children and young people with complex needs
- Ability to provide consultation and training to staff teams
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
Desirable:
- Experience within SEMH or SEND settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and neurodevelopmental conditions
