📍 Wales – Multi‑Site Role (Travel Across Wales Required)
💷 £29.14 – £37.50 per hour
🩺 Community‑based | Flexible shifts | Weekly pay

Pulse is recruiting registered nurses for a Clinical Team Lead role supporting Our Future Health, the UK’s largest health research programme. This is a mobile, multi‑site role across Wales, ideal for nurses who enjoy variety, autonomy, and working across different community locations.

The role is suitable for experienced Band 6/7 nurses, or Band 5 nurses with leadership or supervisory experience who are ready to step up into a clinical leadership position. Nurses who are flexible to travel across multiple sites will be particularly well suited.

This is a nurse‑led, patient‑facing leadership role, where you’ll provide day‑to‑day clinical oversight while remaining hands‑on within community clinic environments.

Band 5 nurses with acting‑up, mentoring, or shift‑lead experience are strongly encouraged to apply

About the Role

~1 min read

You will lead and support Healthcare Assistants and Phlebotomists delivering health screening clinics as part of Our Future Health. Clinics operate across South, West, Mid and North Wales, and you may work across a variety of locations depending on service need and availability.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, high‑quality care, a positive participant experience, and consistent standards across sites. Flexibility to travel between locations will allow you to maximise available shifts and variety in your work.

As part of your onboarding, you will complete a four‑day structured induction at alternative operating sites, giving you confidence in the service model, patient flow, and leadership expectations before taking full responsibility.

You may be required to work across sites in the following areas:

  • South East Wales (including Newport, Cwmbran, Pontypool, Caerphilly, Penarth, Barry, Chepstow, Abergavenny)
  • South Wales Valleys (including Talbot Green, Tonypandy)
  • Swansea Bay & Carmarthenshire (including Port Talbot, Neath, Llanelli, Carmarthen)
  • West Wales (including Haverfordwest, Milford Haven, Pembroke)
  • Mid Wales (including Aberystwyth, Newtown)
  • North West Wales (including Bangor, Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Holyhead)
  • North East Wales (including Rhyl, Conwy, Denbigh, Mold / Connahs Quay)

The more flexible you are to travel, the greater the availability of work.

Flexible working available — 1–2 shifts per week up to full time:

  • Monday to Friday: 7.45am – 6.15pm
  • Saturday: 8.45am – 5.15pm
