This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment, providing high-quality diagnostic services.
Requirements
~1 min read- Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC and be on the Specialist Register in Histopathology (or be eligible within six months of interview)
- UK-trained applicants must hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award by the date of interview
- FRCPath (Part 1 and Part 2)
- Clinical Duties: Reporting on a wide range of histopathology specimens, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and providing expert advice to clinical colleagues
- Teaching and Training: Involvement in the training and supervision of junior medical staff and participation in departmental teaching sessions
- Research and Development: Encouragement to engage in research activities and contribute to the development of the department
- On-call Commitment: Participation in the on-call rota as required
