Responsibilities

→Provide clinical leadership and psychiatric care for adults with a range of mental health conditions.
→Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
→Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing, psychology, social care, and primary care professionals.
→Participate in service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
→Supervise and support junior medical staff and trainees.
→Engage with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic, person-centred care.

Requirements

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
Inclusion on the Specialist Register for General Adult Psychiatry (or within 6 months of CCT)
MRCPsych or equivalent qualification
Experience in adult psychiatry and multidisciplinary team working
Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
