About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a department that delivers high-quality general paediatric and neonatal care, with opportunities to develop a special interest such as paediatric respiratory medicine, endocrinology, or child protection.
You will be part of a team of 14 consultant paediatricians, providing care to children and families across the area. The post may include some peripheral clinics in nearby market towns.
Requirements
~1 min read- Full registration and licence to practise with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Paediatrics (or within 6 months of interview)
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications and Fellowship of a Royal College (e.g., FRCPCH)
- Strong background in general paediatrics and neonatology
- Practical skills and experience in acute paediatric care and safeguarding
- A welcoming and enthusiastic team of 14 consultants
- Comprehensive services in general paediatrics, neonatology, and child safeguarding
- Opportunities to develop and lead on special interest areas
- Strong links with regional tertiary centres for specialist referrals
- Supportive environment for teaching, training, and clinical governance
