A specialist healthcare service is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Dual Rehabilitation & Acute ward. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week.
The hospital provides comprehensive inpatient mental health services for adults and young people, focused on supporting patients to live their best life in a safe and therapeutic environment.

Leading clinical care for patients, including psychiatric assessments, treatment planning, ward rounds, and Responsible Clinician duties under the Mental Health Act.

Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred, recovery-focused care in a therapeutic environment.

Building and maintaining effective relationships with referring Trusts, community teams, families, and external stakeholders.

Contributing to service development through clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Participating in the non-residential on-call rota and committing to continuous professional development, including GMC Revalidation.

Hold full GMC registration and provide evidence when required.

Have significant experience working within multidisciplinary teams.

Be confident working autonomously, applying evidence-based practice in a practical, patient-centred manner.
