Pulse is currently seeking experienced Band 7 Specialist Pharmacists to join the Older Persons Medicine team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. With multiple positions available, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a highly regarded NHS trust, delivering patient-centred care to an ageing population while supporting service development and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Deliver and develop clinical pharmacy services for older persons’ medicine
- →Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care
- →Support medicines optimisation and improve outcomes for elderly patients
- →Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust
- →Contribute to clinical governance, risk management, and service improvement initiatives
- →Support education and training within the department
Requirements
~1 min read- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent in a hospital setting
- Previous experience in older persons’ medicine or general medicine (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of medicines optimisation and clinical governance
- Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
