Consultant Psychiatrist
We are seeking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a private hospital in, Hampshire. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) part time will be considered.
Set in a semi-rural location, this private hospital group supports the NHS by providing low secure services and level 2 rehabilitation services for both male and female patients. This includes specialist learning disability and autism spectrum support.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in recovery and treatment, including:

Taking clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, strategic reviews and the development of a therapeutic milieu.

Acting as Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).

Supervising referral and admission processes, including contributing to pre-admission assessments.

Providing a psychiatric perspective to the multidisciplinary team in relation to assessment, formulation and treatment planning.
This post requires a strong team player who is enthusiastic about working within a multidisciplinary framework. The appointed consultant must hold and maintain registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), including inclusion on the relevant Specialist Register.
