Pulse is recruiting an experienced Specialist Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join the Children’s Community Therapy Service based at Green Wrythe Lane, within the Epsom & St Helier service. This role is ideal for clinicians with strong paediatric experience, particularly in dysphagia, complex communication needs, and AAC.
You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high‑quality assessment and intervention for children with a wide range of developmental and complex needs across community clinics, homes, and educational settings.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide specialist assessment and intervention for children with: – Dysphagia – Complex communication needs – AAC requirements
- →Manage a varied paediatric caseload across community settings
- →Work collaboratively with families, schools, and MDT colleagues
- →Contribute to service development and pathway improvement
- →Provide supervision and support to junior SLTs and assistants
- →Maintain accurate, high‑quality clinical documentation
Requirements
~1 min read- HCPC‑registered Speech & Language Therapist
- Strong paediatric clinical experience
- Skills in dysphagia, complex needs, and/or AAC
- Ability to work independently within a community setting
- Excellent communication and MDT collaboration skills
- Experience supervising junior staff (desirable)
