Videographer/Video Editor/Motion Graphics

Conceptualization and executing commercial video projects. Planning, organisation and execution of pre-production, production and post-production tasks for commercial video formats. Edit commercial and in-house video content with a strong creative and storytelling approach. Design and execute motion graphics and visual effects for branded and in-house video content. Assist in the production of Pulse original & live video formats for Kenya & editing the pulse original videos. Ensure all video outputs meet Pulse’s high creative, technical, and brand standards. Ideation and creation of video content solutions, strategies and creative concepts for Pulse commercial video with a focus on audience engagement and monetisation. Develop data-driven video strategy recommendations with the goal of driving content engagement, brand awareness and monetization. Be an active, passionate, creative and collaborative member of the video team willing to go the extra mile to achieve both personal and category goals. Work collaboratively with producers, editors, designers, and commercial teams to deliver strong creative outcomes. Support where needed on all Production processes including lighting, editing, colour correction, sound design, and motion graphics. Requirements Strong knowledge in pre-production, production and post production planning and execution. Proven skills in commercial videography and camera operation. Advanced skills in motion graphics and creative video editing. Visualizing concepts and translating them into compelling video stories. Knowledge of field video production techniques and standards. Strong understanding of digital-first video formats and platform-specific content. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of on-screen directing and working with talent. Knowledge of broadcasting rules and regulations. A collaborative, creative and solutions-oriented mindset.
