Senior Associate

The ServiceNow Developer – Senior Associate plays a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of ServiceNow applications and workflows. They will leverage their knowledge of JavaScript, low-code/no-code configurations, and platform capabilities to build scalable solutions across various ServiceNow modules. This role requires experience with application development, external system integrations, and the ability to support enterprise-level service delivery. The Senior Associate is also expected to mentor junior developers and uphold coding and development best practices.

Those in cloud operations at PwC will focus on managing and optimising cloud infrastructure and services to enable seamless operations and high availability for clients. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing industry leading practices for cloud-based systems.
The ServiceNow Developer – Senior Associate contributes to enhancing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to improve business efficiency and enable cross-functional solutions.

Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform.

Configure and implement workflows, forms, business rules, and client/server scripts using JavaScript.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

Participate in code reviews, release planning, and Agile ceremonies to ensure clean, maintainable code.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting platform standards and best practices.

Requirements

4-7 years of working experience in a ServiceNow development role.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - required.

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - required.

ServiceNow ITSM Certification - preferred.

JavaScript Programming - Proficient in client-side and server-side scripting within the ServiceNow platform.

ServiceNow Platform Development - Skilled in building custom applications and workflows across modules.

REST and SOAP Integration - Capable of integrating ServiceNow with external systems using standard APIs.

Agile/Scrum Methodologies - Comfortable working in iterative development environments and sprints.

Proficient in HTML, CSS, XML, SOAP, and REST.

Experienced using the ServiceNow App Developer tooling.

Nice to Have

Experience with Service Catalog and CMDB.

Familiarity with low-code/no-code development on ServiceNow App Engine.

Exposure to ServiceNow Flow Designer.
