Ngā kōrero mo tēnei tūranga / About the role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join PwC’s Transformation Design & Delivery team, with particular focus on business analysis and business process improvement across transformation programmes.

This opportunity is suited to someone who enjoys understanding how organisations work, identifying where processes can be improved, and helping clients translate complex business needs into clear, practical solutions.

You’ll work alongside experienced transformation professionals across a range of client engagements, taking ownership of business analysis and process improvement activities across complex business and technology change.

You’ll use PwC-approved AI-enabled tools to enhance how you work and help clients explore how AI, automation and emerging technologies can improve business processes and ways of working; helping clients understand their current state, define future ways of working and translate requirements into practical actions that support successful transformation outcomes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements, translating complex information into clear, practical recommendations and actions.
  • Map current-state processes and help design improved future-state processes, ways of working and supporting documentation.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather information, validate requirements and build alignment.
  • Develop key transformation deliverables, including process maps, requirements documentation, user journeys and operating procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to apply AI, automation and emerging technologies in the design of future-state processes and ways of working, helping clients improve operational efficiency and customer and employee experiences.
  • Identify process gaps, risks and dependencies, and support testing, implementation and transition activities.
  • Take ownership of defined pieces of work and contribute to the successful delivery of broader transformation workstreams.
  • Contribute to PwC’s transformation tools, frameworks and ways of working while continuing to build your consulting and delivery capability.

Ngā pūkenga ka kawea mai e koe, ka whakawhanakehia rānei i tēnei tūranga / Skills you will bring or develop in this role

  • 2+ years’ experience in business analysis, business process improvement, transformation, change or project-based environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business problems and break them down into clear requirements and practical solutions.
  • Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exposure to business process mapping, process improvement, and current-state / future-state analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across different teams and levels of an organisation.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into practical and easy-to-understand outputs.
  • Comfortable working across business and technology teams and connecting operational needs with wider transformation objectives.
  • A keen interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies, with experience using or a willingness to learn AI-enabled tools to improve business analysis, problem-solving and ways of working.
  • Well-organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities, take ownership of deliverables and contribute across multiple workstreams.
  • Previous consulting experience would be advantageous.
