PLC Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Mechanic to join our 1st Shift team. The primary responsibilities of this role will include maintaining and troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), performing preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, and ensuring production processes run smoothly.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical certification or relevant degree preferred
- Proven experience working with PLC systems and troubleshooting electrical components
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on industrial machinery and PLC systems to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot electrical components, PLC programming, and industrial machinery
- Repair or replace defective parts as needed
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime
- Document all maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address issues and improve processes
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations
