Senior Specialist - Cloud Operation

The Senior Specialist – Cloud Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operation, administration, monitoring, and optimization of the organization’s cloud environments. The role ensures cloud services remain available, secure, reliable, and cost-efficient, while providing advanced technical support and driving automation and continuous operational improvement.

• →Operate, administer, monitor, and support enterprise cloud platforms and services.

• →Monitor cloud infrastructure and proactively identify and resolve performance, capacity, availability, and configuration issues.

• →Implement automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce repetitive manual activities.
• →Support cloud security controls, identity and access management, configuration standards, backup, and disaster recovery.
• →Support incident, problem, and change management activities, including root-cause analysis for recurring or critical issues.
• →Monitor cloud utilization and support FinOps/cost optimization activities to improve resource efficiency.

• →Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Network, Application, Architecture, and DevOps teams to resolve operational issues and support new solutions.

• →Maintain monitoring, alerting, backup, recovery, and high-availability capabilities.
• →Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in cloud reliability, scalability, security, and operational processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Typically 5–8 years of relevant IT/infrastructure experience, including strong hands-on exposure to cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with one or more major platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Public senior cloud roles similarly emphasize AWS/Azure, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, troubleshooting, security, scalability, and cost efficiency
