Responsibilities

- →Build and run the content calendar: Coordinate the monthly publishing plan across Design, Press, Events, PMM, Community, and external agencies. You ensure on-time delivery and strategic coherence.
- →Create content hands-on: Shoot and edit video/photo content using CapCut, Edits, Figma, or similar tools. Be comfortable on camera — you bring Qonto's Italian brand to life through owned content.
- →Run paid social campaigns: Manage LinkedIn campaigns directly, coordinate Instagram paid with our Italian agency, and support YouTube Ads with the media team.
- →Track performance and evolve strategy: Extract KPIs, draw conclusions, and systematically apply learnings. You use data to evolve your approach, not just report on it.
- 3 years as the in-house social media owner for an Italian brand — not agency-side. You've designed and executed the full channel strategy across IG, LinkedIn, and YouTube solo, without an account manager or team below you. B2B or scale-up experience strongly preferred
- Italian copywriting excellence: sharp, error-free, culturally resonant. You localise, not translate. Perfect written and oral Italian and English.
- Data fluency: You work with Sprout, Google Analytics, Looker Studio (or equivalents) and you can walk through a campaign's performance metric by metric and tell me what you changed as a result — not just that results were positive
- Influencer management: You've run creator campaigns end-to-end — sourcing, briefing, negotiation, performance tracking. You've owned the full cycle.
- Paid social experience: You've managed LinkedIn campaigns and can brief an agency on Instagram paid with clear objectives and creative direction.
- Full ownership of a market: You define Italy's social strategy and you execute it. No committee approvals — you own the output and the results.
- A growing content playground: Podcast, influencer collaborations, events coverage, video production — the formats are expanding and you'll shape what comes next.
- Cross-functional collaboration across Southern Europe: You'll work daily with Design, Press, Events, PMM, Community, and Qonto's global social media team. Marta's team covers Italy, Spain, and Portugal — three markets, shared learnings.
- AI-first environment: Daily experimentation with AI tools is expected. You'll have access to the best tools on the market to evolve your craft.
Your manager will be Marta Rifà Llimós, Head of Marketing Southern Europe, based in Barcelona.
- Her path? 10+ years in digital marketing across Southern European markets. Marta spent 5+ years at Engel & Völkers growing from Digital Marketing Assistant to Marketing Manager Iberia, then led EU performance and cross-channel marketing at Birchbox. She joined Qonto in 2022 as Marketing Lead Spain, built the market from the ground up, and was promoted to Head of Marketing Southern Europe in 2025 — now leading Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
- What does she bring to the team? A hands-on, data-driven leadership style with deep multi-market experience. She's built marketing operations from scratch and knows what it takes to grow a market. She runs a flat team where ideas are welcomed and ownership is expected.
