Full Time Substitute Teacher - Bronx Preschool

• →Complete required QSAC orientation.
• →Ensure health, safety & welfare of individuals.
• →Conduct formal and informal assessments of educational programs and behavior interventions.
• →Supervise Teacher’s Assistants/Aides and participate in the implementation of educational programs and behavior interventions.
• →Implement and adhere to IEP/Student Program.
• →Supervise and implement completion of program/student documentation.
• →Supervise and delegate responsibilities to Teacher’s Assistants/Aides.
• →Complete and maintain training requirements.
• →Complete required program documentation/certifications (e.g. Employee Medicals, PPD, CPR, etc. as required).
• →Interact/communicate with parents, college interns, professionals, and other interested visitors.
• →Punctuality and regular attendance is expected.
• →Maintain participant/family confidentiality.
• →Commitment to company values and adherence to policies.
• →Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors and/or senior management.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Child Psychology, Child
  Development, Elementary Education, Nursery-Grade 6 Elementary Education,
  Special Education (Students w/ Disabilities B-2 or 1-6), or General
  Education – must have at least 12 credits specific to early childhood
  within any of these areas
• You must ALSO be enrolled in a Master's program in Education or Special Education
• 3 letters of recommendation required upon hire
• Experience with Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
• Ability to run.
• Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb items.
• Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and individuals served.
